Investment Opportunities

With a strong record of producing high-quality diamonds, an experienced management profile, and a demonstrated diamond potential, SSC Diamond presents a unique and attractive investment opportunity.

Both Frank Smith and Loxton Dal have successfully undergone Diamond Exploration Programmes in accordance with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE) listing requirements, Chapter 18A. The programmes revealed highly-promising estimates for the diamond volume and quality for both diamond mines. It is anticipated that the results from the exploratory programme will upgrade the diamond resources to indicated status, and are therefore favourable towards the HKSE listing standards.

The Group is entering an exciting era as we continue to expand our tailings operation of Frank Smith and re-commence the underground operations of both mines following significant infrastructural improvement directed by SSC Diamond since 2011. With a surging demand for diamonds forecasted for the next three decades, the Group is seeking to establish productive alliances and relationships to support our corporate objectives and growing business.

LATEST BUSINESS DEVELOPMENTS

SSC Diamond's current main focus is on the completion of the infrastructural upgrade and the preparation work for advancing the tailings recovery and underground mining operations for both Frank Smith and Loxton Dal Diamond Mines. Mined diamonds from both mines are then sold through the Kimberley Diamond Exchange on tender basis, with the average tender price appreciably higher than those of peer’s entities in the same geographical region.

It is also SSC Diamond’s mid to long-term business objective to maintain a sustainable increase in the volume of rough diamonds produced through further exploration of current mines and acquisitions of additional quality diamond deposits.

SSC Diamond is seeking to develop strategic partnerships within the BRICS countries, especially in South Africa, Hong Kong and China, to establish suitable infrastructure with the polishing, wholesale and trading sectors in order to maximise the value chain of the diamond business. With a current lack of diamond cutting and polishing centres in Hong Kong, establishment of mid-stream sector in Hong Kong would exploit synergy with the growing downstream demand within the region, and would also establish diamond trading alliance network between Hong Kong and China.

SSC Diamond is seeking to develop strategic partnerships within the BRICS countries, especially in South Africa, Hong Kong and China, to establish suitable infrastructure with the polishing, wholesale and trading sectors in order to maximise the value chain of the diamond business.
